Job Details

Animal Au Pair, York

Our client, a boarding & breeding kennels & cattery based near York in North Yorkshire are seeking an Animal Aupair/Live-In Kennel Assistant to help with the day to day running of the kennels. Responsibilities will include walking the dogs, feeding dogs & cats (and sometimes parrots), washing bedding, cleaning kennels etc. You will be expected to work approximately 25 hours per week with extra hours when owners are away from home (extra hours will mean increase in payment) but there is lots of free time aswell. Working hours are usually 8am-11am, 12.30 - 1.30pm and 7pm-8pm Salary of £60-£90 per week with living costs included (room with TV and 24 hour internet access) plus use of car if competent driver. There may also be the opportunity to work towards an Apprenticeship qualification in Animal Care. As there will be a lot of free time the candidate will need to be able to occupy his/herself with hobbies and interests. As the candidate will be treated as part of the family, they will need to be willing to help with light housework. Overseas applicants welcome. Ideally would like someone to start beginning of June. Qualified Veterinary Nurse or Experienced Nursing Assistant (Perm or Locum), London

Our SW London based client is seeking either Qualified Veterinary Nurses or experienced nursing assistants for either permanent or locum contracts. Duties to include all usual nursing tasks including theatre, administering medication, ward, lab. 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm weekdays, 8am-4pm weekends, weekends 2:4, no lates or nights. Our client is seeking a locum RVN to cover maternity leave from July 2009 to approx April 2010. The position will be fulltime over the summer holidays then part time from September. 100% SA practice with small friendly team. Salary TBC, accommodation available if required. Our client, a 100% SA practice is seeking a Qualified Veterinary Nurse with excellent communication skills to work in their WOW Award winning surgery in Rayleigh, Essex. Well equipped clinic with digital x-ray, ultrasound and air con. TP & Investors in People status. 6 vets and 20 support staff. Duties to include schedule III and nurse consults, limited recpetion duties. 40 hours per week weekends 2:5, time in lieu is given for weekend work. No on call or OOHs currently but candidate will need to be prepared to do this in the future. Good salary, bonus and pension scheme and CPD allowance.
