CAW Recruitment Terms of Business

 

Locum Staff

These terms cover the contract between CAW Recruitment Ltd and their client in relation to the hire of interim staff for the client’s business
  • By asking CAW Recruitment Ltd to provide the service of any candidates the client is agreeing to these terms and conditions of business for the provision of such services.
  • When a candidate is employed on an assignment, the worker is deemed to be under the direct and sole control of the client.
  • The client is responsible for providing adequate induction and training in all work practices applicable to the worker and also ensures adequate supervision to the candidate.
  • CAW Recruitment ensures that it will make every reasonable effort to provide high standards in the candidates that they introduce to their clients, but accept no liability for losses, expenses, delays or damages. The client is responsible for any liabilities and is advised to insure against any such liabilities.
  • The client is required to comply with all laws, codes of practice and legal requirements. This includes adequate employers and public liability insurance cover for the worker for the duration of the assignment.
  • The client is responsible for paying the candidate for the actual number of hours worked or for the daily session, which all parties prior to the start of the assignment will agree. The client may also be responsible for accommodation costs where necessary. The client is also responsible for paying CAW Recruitment Ltd on a pre-agreed daily rate for the placement of their candidate with their client.
  • CAW Recruitment Ltd will submit to the client a weekly invoice in relation to the charges for the service. These invoices are to be paid within 14 days of receipt.
  • If a client cancels a booking with CAW Recruitment Ltd, they must give 7 days notice in order to avoid cancelation charges.
  • If the client is dissatisfied with the quality of work via the candidate the client must inform CAW Recruitment Ltd. If notification occurs with in the first four hours of the candidate’s commencement of work and is within standard office hours, and the candidate’s assignment is cancelled then the client will only be responsible for payment of the candidate. CAW Recruitment will waive the placement fee.
  • All payments to CAW Recruitment Ltd are subject to the addition of Value Added Tax at the current rate. The Client will be liable for payment to CAW Recruitment Ltd, under the Permanent Placement Fees arrangement if they employ any candidates introduced to them via CAW Recruitment within six months of the candidates last day worked for the client.

Permanent Staff

  • These terms cover the contract between CAW Recruitment and their client in relation to the introduction of a candidate, by virtue of an interview for employment or by employing the candidate who has been introduced by CAW Recruitment.
  • The client agrees to notify CAW Recruitment immediately that an offer of employment has been made to the candidate who CAW Recruitment has introduced and the client agrees to pay the introduction fee.
  • The permanent placement fee is calculated on experience and is only negotiable between CAW Recruitment and the client.
  • All fees are subject to VAT at the current rate and all candidate introductions are confidential. If the client or a representative of the client appoints the candidate that CAW Recruitment has introduced within six months of the last introduction then CAW Recruitment will invoice the client for the placement fee.
  • CAW Recruitment will try and ensure that all candidates are suitable for the vacancy as described to us. The client is responsible for taking up candidate references, checking qualifications and skill assessments. The client is also responsible for any legal obligations associated with the employment of the candidate. CAW Recruitment accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising directly or indirectly from errors or omissions, or fraud or dishonest acts from the candidate introduced by CAW Recruitment.
